Last Epoch’s Season 5 Drops With New Content

Eleventh Hour Games have officially launched Season 5 for Last Epoch, titled Rage of the Frostborn. It brings a new seasonal activity, high-tier boss encounters and fresh character build options.

Rage of Morditas Activity and Pinnacle Boss

The main headline of Season 5 is Rage of Morditas, a brand-new seasonal activity where players can activate Bloody Crystals to defend against waves of enemies. Resources acquired during these encounters will allow customisation towards the type and quality of rewards on offer for specific playstyles.

For a high-level combat challenge, the update also introduces two new major boss encounters: Morditas and the endgame Pinnacle Morditas.

The full patch notes are absolutely huge for this update, so take a look if you’re interested in seeing every detail.

New Build Options and Last Epoch Studio Leadership

Season 5 also includes three new skills, as well as new Unique and Set items, both of which offer more combination of build options.

Alongside the content itself, the team have announced that Mike Weicker, co-founder of Eleventh Hour Games, has been appointed Game Director of Last Epoch. Whilst he has worked on the game for over nine years, he will now lead operations and future development.

“It means a great deal to me to take on this new role alongside the developers and players who have been part of Last Epoch for so many years. I will continue to build on the core gameplay experience and development philosophy that has shaped Last Epoch, while listening closely to our players and looking for new opportunities to improve the game.”

Hi, I'm ChilledPixl, owner of PixlPerfect!

This website was created to provide a space for gamers to learn about the games they play, as well as find new titles that may have been missed, as well as deals and trailers.

A commitment that I will stand by is that we will offer entertaining news to any of our readers without any unnecessary or unwanted additions to articles. No clickbait, no bulk and certainly no fake posts.

I envisioned Pixl Perfect as a hub, providing as much content as possible that I could provide, whilst also being a community area and I hope to develop the latter down the line.

I absolutely love everything related to video games and thoroughly enjoy writing and decided to join them both together. I owned a previous site in the past, the Player Journal, with the foundations of that used to create Pixl Perfect.
