Madfinger Games has announced Rogue Ops, the next major content update for Gray Zone Warfare. Launching on October 22nd, it marks the game’s transition into its next Alpha development stage, introducing a player hideout, crafting progression, new locations and a soft wipe.
Hideout Progression, Crafting and Hacking
The main feature of Rogue Ops is the introduction of a personal hideout and crafting system, both of which add a brand-new layer of player progression.
Within the hideout itself, players can produce chemical substances and narcotics for medical use or they can be sold on the illegal market. The crafting system also unlocks research paths for new technologies, including hacking tools designed to open previously inaccessible areas across Gray Zone Warfare.
New Locations and Multiple Character Slots
Expanding the world of Lamang, the update introduces three major new points of interest: Radio Observatory, Asylum and Military Research Site. All three of these areas will feature some of the map’s most valuable loot, whilst also offering hours of exploration.

On top of the above and in response to community feedback, multiple characters will now be available to be created per account.
Soft Wipe and Gray Zone Warfare’s Early Access Preview
Unlike previous updates, Rogue Ops introduces Grey Zone Warfare’s first soft wipe. However, whilst in-game currency and equipment will be reset, player progression will not. Three days before the launch of the update, owners of the Supporter Edition will be invited to play it early.
