Dawn of War IV Receives Space Marines Deep Dive

KING Art Games have released the fourth and final faction deep dive for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, highlighting the two playable Space Marine chapters heading to Kronus: the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels.

In combat, Space Marines operate as elite, high-durability shock troops that rely on careful positioning and tactical adaptability to counter overwhelming enemy numbers.

Blood Ravens and Dark Angels Playstyles

Each chapter brings a distinct tactical focus and Commander to the battlefield:

• Blood Ravens: Led by Captain Cyrus, this chapter specialises in reconnaissance, infiltration, and marksmanship. Cyrus operates behind enemy lines, utilising stealth tactics alongside targeted orbital air strikes to exploit structural weaknesses.

• Dark Angels: Led by Company Master Astoran, this chapter focuses on direct, heavy-armoured assaults. Encased in Terminator armour, Astoran spearheads frontal pushes supported by heavy firepower, Drop Pod deployments, and searing Orbital Bombardments.

Launch Dates, Pre-Orders, and Year One Roadmap

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV launches for PC on December 3rd, 2026. Players who pre-order the Commander Edition gain three-day early access starting November 30th. Both digital editions are currently available at a 10% pre-order discount.

Deep Silver also outlined post-launch support for Year One, confirming free updates will add the returning Crusade Mode, new maps, fresh game modes, additional Commanders, and a custom Mission Editor. Two major narrative expansions are also in development, planned to introduce a new playable faction to Kronus.
