Bulkhead has revealed that Wardogs Season 2 will release on October 15th, introducing a bunch of new content following its successful original launch.
New Weapons, Vehicles and Buildables
Content is expected to release throughout Season 2, with four new weapons arriving. These are the TCX-SPR Assault Rifle, M14 DMR, PP-19 Bizon SMG and Evo-3 Ultra LMG – all including a wide range of new attachments.
To go alongside these small arms, the vehicle roster is also being expanded with the Wolf-110, the T-72B3 battle tank and the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air vehicle. There are also a three new buildable options to expand gameplay opportunities, which are the MG Nest, Large Shelter and Wooden Step.
Dynamic Weather and Wager Vendor
A new rain weather preset is being included within Season 2, aiming to alter map conditions such as visibility, as well as server-synchronised thunder that can mask footsteps. On the opposite side of weather, there’s a new Experimental Wager Vendor, allowing players to stake their own in-game cash on their own performance.
Objectives and conditions can be selected to potentially increase payouts, with the system built around a risk-reward dynamic. Note that Bulkhead have stated that this is an early interpretation and will be expanded over time or even removed if its exploited.
