Planet Coaster 2 Spooky DLC Adds Walkthrough Attractions

Frontier Developments has announced a brand-new content pack for Halloween with all-new spooky rides and over 700 pieces of scenery to really make your theme park scary.

NEW WALKTHROUGH ATTRACTIONS

For the first time in Planet Coaster 2, players can make a Walkthrough Attraction, allowing guests to venture through a customised area, such as haunted houses or mazes, with animatronics, sound effects and scenary. Blueprints are available for these Walkthrough Attractions, but there is also the ability to create one entirely from scratch.

NEW ROLLERCOASTERS AND ENTERTAINERS

Not only does this pack introduce the above, but also features new rollercoasters and rides. On the coaster side, there’s Big M’s Rides: Spectre, a highly customisable modular launch coaster, and Jerry St Lauer: Sledge. Flat rides include the Ballista, a swinging gondola, the Rumpus Room and Horror Heights, while tracked rides include Bosetti, an atmospheric adventure ride, and The Huntsman.

To go alongside these new rides, three ghostly entertainers will be available in the park, being Wigglebones, King Ghoster and Queen Scream.

FREE UPDATE 12 AND DLC PRICING

Apart from the upcoming DLC, there is also a free update, available now for all players, that introduces Reaction Points to parks. These points give guests a reason to react to objects like scenery as they pass by. Not only that, but there are new Photo Stand-In Walls, 25 dirt and grime decals and a bunch of bug fixes and improvements.

The Spooktacular Pack DLC for Planet Coaster 2 will launch on October 29th for £14.99 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
