October Update Arrives for Pathologic 3

Ice-Pick Lodge has released a hefty update for Pathologic 3, packed with new features and a tonne of bug fixes. It’s clearly a big one as the team cannot seem to settle on a title for it! It’s been labelled as The Great October Update, The October Grand Update and also The Great Autumn Update.

In any case, one of the highlights to this update is the new Photo Mode, which lets players capture any moment in-game, with the ability to use weather presets, stickers, frames and more. On top of this, there are two new difficulties, one easier and one harder than the default mode that Pathologic 3 originally had.

Alongside the above, there are some more additions being:

  • Improvements for lower-end CPUs and optimisations for Steam Deck
  • Subtitles have been added for dialogue
  • Further ways to deal with Shabnak
  • Quality of life improvements such as refined interfaces and controls
  • Over 100 bug fixes across quests, events, the story and more

It’s worth taking a look at the full patch notes for the complete list of fixes, as the team has done some fantastic work squashing more bugs than we can list here.

Hi, I'm ChilledPixl, owner of PixlPerfect!

This website was created to provide a space for gamers to learn about the games they play, as well as find new titles that may have been missed, as well as deals and trailers.

A commitment that I will stand by is that we will offer entertaining news to any of our readers without any unnecessary or unwanted additions to articles. No clickbait, no bulk and certainly no fake posts.

I envisioned Pixl Perfect as a hub, providing as much content as possible that I could provide, whilst also being a community area and I hope to develop the latter down the line.

I absolutely love everything related to video games and thoroughly enjoy writing and decided to join them both together. I owned a previous site in the past, the Player Journal, with the foundations of that used to create Pixl Perfect.
