Primal Carnage Releases Huge Free PC Update

Circle 5 Studios has announced a huge content update for Primal Carnage: Extinction, effectively turning it into a new version called the Evolved Edition.

The team have stated that when they released Primal Carnage: Evolution on PS5 earlier this year, a tonne of new systems and content was created for it, and this update brings that over to the original PC game.

First up are the brand new Dual Repeaters for the Trapper class, a pair of lever-action rifles. These will pair nicely with the Combo Meter: a new system that rewards players for chaining together kills within a time limit, granting additional EXP. Dinosaurs now have the ability to drink to restore stamina faster and an announcer has been added to react to gameplay.

The sandbox free-roam mode has also been expanded, with five bonus playable dinosaurs:

  • Brachiosaurus
  • Compsognathus
  • Iguanodon
  • Parsaurolophus
  • Stegosaurus

However, the best addition might be the new SuperJump, ToggleBigHead and InfiniteAmmo console commands, which can be used as cheats.

There’s plenty more to this update, such as a reworked HUD, game mode renaming, new screen effects, intel collectables, SkillShot System and so much more. Take a look at the full patch notes on Steam for everything that has changed.

Hi, I'm ChilledPixl, owner of PixlPerfect!

This website was created to provide a space for gamers to learn about the games they play, as well as find new titles that may have been missed, as well as deals and trailers.

A commitment that I will stand by is that we will offer entertaining news to any of our readers without any unnecessary or unwanted additions to articles. No clickbait, no bulk and certainly no fake posts.

I envisioned Pixl Perfect as a hub, providing as much content as possible that I could provide, whilst also being a community area and I hope to develop the latter down the line.

I absolutely love everything related to video games and thoroughly enjoy writing and decided to join them both together. I owned a previous site in the past, the Player Journal, with the foundations of that used to create Pixl Perfect.
