A free demo for Monster Hunter Wilds has launched on Nintendo Switch 2, alongside the opening of pre-orders ahead of its December 4th release.
This demo includes access to the full opening of the game, introducing players to the Windward Plains and letting them hunt and explore up to Chapter 1-3 “To the Forest”. Whilst the demo is offline only, there’s also the ability to play multiplayer locally. Of course, the Hunter and Palico creator is featured and all customisation and progress will carry over to the main game if purchased.
Monster Hunter Wilds can be pre-ordered via the Nintendo eShop for £26.24, which includes a 25% discount that runs until December 3rd. All pre-orders also include the Guild Knight Set layered armour and the Hope Charm talisman. There’s also mention of a physical Deluxe Edition available to pre-order, but I’ve been unable to find any retailers stocking it as of yet, at least in the UK.
