007 First Light Reveals Switch 2 Release Date

IO Interactive has confirmed that 007 First Light will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18th, 2027. A new gameplay trailer has also been released, showing Bond’s re-imagined origin story running on the platform. Pre-orders for the Switch 2 version are open now on the Nintendo Store and other retailers.

IO Interactive says it took hands-on builds of the Switch 2 version to both gamescom and Tokyo Game Show, giving players and press their first chance to try it on Nintendo’s hardware. The studio describes the response from both events as positive. Following its announcement of additional development time, the team plans to spend the coming months refining optimisation and performance on Switch 2.

The Deluxe Edition is available to pre-order for £69.99 and features additional extras including:

  • GoldenEye Suit on launch.
  • Four gleaming gadgets: the Lighter, Earphones, Dart Gun and Pen.
  • Four additional outfits: Day of the Dead, Desert Explorer, Silent Anchor and Gentleman Operator.

007 First Light is already available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. The team recently released a huge update, featuring a new difficulty mode and more.

Hi, I'm ChilledPixl, owner of PixlPerfect!

This website was created to provide a space for gamers to learn about the games they play, as well as find new titles that may have been missed, as well as deals and trailers.

A commitment that I will stand by is that we will offer entertaining news to any of our readers without any unnecessary or unwanted additions to articles. No clickbait, no bulk and certainly no fake posts.

I envisioned Pixl Perfect as a hub, providing as much content as possible that I could provide, whilst also being a community area and I hope to develop the latter down the line.

I absolutely love everything related to video games and thoroughly enjoy writing and decided to join them both together. I owned a previous site in the past, the Player Journal, with the foundations of that used to create Pixl Perfect.
