Arizona Sunshine Launches in 2027 for PC & Consoles

Vertigo Games has announced that Arizona Sunshine will launch on January 21st, 2027 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game has been built for PC and consoles and shifts the series’ action into a third-person perspective, away from its original VR style. Players follow Sunny, a survivor with a dark sense of humour who has spent far too long alone in the Arizona desert, and his dog Buddy through a zombie-filled wasteland.

It can be played solo, in online co-op for two players or in local split-screen. Players will even have the option to play as Buddy in multiplayer. A new trailer has also been released, focusing on the bond between the two to go alongside the date announcement.

Arizona Sunshine’s standard edition will cost £21.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at £24.99. The Deluxe Edition includes:

  • The main game
  • 48 hours of early access
  • The Legacy DLC pack, which will be released at a later date. It contains the original Arizona Sunshine Legacy campaign, plus the Dead Man and The Damned DLCs
  • Neon Wastelander pack
  • Fred’s Fashion pack

Pre-orders are open now on PlayStation 5, Steam, Xbox Series, with Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders to follow later. Those pre-ordering on Steam get 20% off and whilst the PlayStation Store has this same discount, it is limited to PS Plus members. All pre-orders also include the exclusive Desert Raiders cosmetic pack.

Hi, I'm ChilledPixl, owner of PixlPerfect!

This website was created to provide a space for gamers to learn about the games they play, as well as find new titles that may have been missed, as well as deals and trailers.

A commitment that I will stand by is that we will offer entertaining news to any of our readers without any unnecessary or unwanted additions to articles. No clickbait, no bulk and certainly no fake posts.

I envisioned Pixl Perfect as a hub, providing as much content as possible that I could provide, whilst also being a community area and I hope to develop the latter down the line.

I absolutely love everything related to video games and thoroughly enjoy writing and decided to join them both together. I owned a previous site in the past, the Player Journal, with the foundations of that used to create Pixl Perfect.
