League of Legends: Wild Rift
League of Legends: Wild Rift‘s Patch 7.3 is due to release on September 22nd and rounds off the year with new champions, gameplay changes, a new game mode and more.
Three champions have made their way to the Rift in this patch. Hwei, the Visionary, brings a wide spell palette and can deal heavy damage while also offering utility to the team. Sylas, the Unshackled, is an explosive mage with the ability to steal enemy champions’ ultimates. Rek’Sai, the Void Burrower, is an initiator who is able to burrow and chase prey.
On the gameplay side, super and cannon minions will receive stat boosts to assist them with siege and destroying enemy turrets will grant allied minions bonus attack damage. Smite has been in the centre of a small rework as well, now offering persistent burning true damage that scales with player stats.
The other headline addition from this update is Rift Rumble, a 3v3v3 mode on a brand new symmetrical map. This mode is focused purely on combat rather than pushing towers, with new augment stones that can enhance abilities.
