Digital Extremes has officially released the latest major update, titled Iceblade of Narin, for Warframe on all platforms, introducing icy-themed content, a new social space and a free login goodie.
Wield The Glacial Power of Narin
The highlight of this update is the addition of Narin as the 66th Warframe to be added to the game. As the update suggests, she is able to harness the power of ice to skate across the battlefield with spectral swords, hailstones and snowy explosions. Two new weapons are also joining Narin: her signature bow, Nunchasea, and dual ice pistols, Aksondol.
New Social Zones and World Content
Released with Narin is a new social zone to explore atop Yuvan Peak, called Narin’s Crest. Inside this area is her legendary sword, encased in ice for anyone to try and free it. New Entropic Eximus enemies have made their way into a previously undiscovered area of the Zariman. Aside from that, there’s also the new endgame Glacial Defiance game mode, allowing up to six players to work together on numerous objectives for rewards. However, this mode has been pushed back a few weeks and will release sometime before October 15th.
Free Login Rewards and Prime Access
Banshee has had a full ability rework and to celebrate, players can log in on any platform to claim her Warframe for free, as well as some Forma, before October 7th. The game has also officially launched on the Samsung Galaxy Store, also offering some freebies for downloading and logging in from there: the Colour Picker Valentine and Manegarmr Ephemera energy tail, both of which are available until October 21st.
In terms of Primes, Citrine has joined the roster for them with increased energy and armour, alongside the Steflos Prime shotgun and Corufell Prime scythe.
