Following on from its most recent open beta, Once Human has announced that it will officially launch on PS5 and Xbox Series on August 25th.
One of the additions is the ability to switch between a first-person and third-person perspective at any time. There’s also a graphical option toggle, which offers Quality Mode that targets 4K/60FPS and Performance Mode that targets 120FPS, although the resolution isn’t stated in the press release. This is quite impressive stats on offer, considering we are used to most quality modes in console games being locked to 30FPS. It will also include full cross-play and cross-progression between other platforms.
Once Human is a free-to-play title but it does offer some DLC packs that can also be pre-ordered now. There are two packs on offer, with both featuring exclusive items depending on if it’s purchased on PS5 or Xbox:
- Starter Pack. Includes the Black Gold Butterfly cradle skin, 3 Midnight Rave weapon skins, 30-day METAPASS, home facility skin and profile customisation items. £8.39 on Xbox and £9.49 on PS5.
- Radiance Pack. Provides an outfit selection for 3 character skins, a premium battle pass, 30-day METAPASS, 2 Siderite lottery tokens and an avatar frame. £12.49 on Xbox and £14.99 on PS5.
