Killing Floor 3 has released its fourth seasonal update, titled Operation: Shadow Hunter, for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. It introduces new missions, map, weapons and more.
Season 4 carries on with its narrative missions, with the latest one taking players to hunt down Dr Emmanuel Moorcraft, who has “ascended to his final, most dangerous form”, all whilst destroying his plans on opening a rift to an alternate dimension. There’s also a new survival map – Oil Rig.
The Gunslinger perk has returned from Killing Floor 2, who specialises in dual-wielding pistols, all of which are now available to be used this way. Gunslingers also carry gravity grenades and a pair of smartguns as their gadget, which hones in on weakpoints.
As well as the above, there has been the addition of five new dual-wield guns to complement the Gunslinger, but they can also be used by all other perks. These are the Law 2058 Revolvers, Night Adders, .50 Cal Desert Eagles, AF2081-A1S Double Barrel and Der Konig.
Coming up last is the new Suicidal difficulty, which is placed between the current Hard and Hell-on-Earth difficulties. There’s also a new supply pass to go with the Season 4 update, which features 100 new rewards.
