The cozy Gemporium: A Cute Mining Sim will be celebrating its first anniversary in August, with a DLC and free update.
Coming up first is the Amber & Amulets DLC expansion, which will see players following a mystery between two new characters, Nessie and Donella, and eventually panning for amber. Whilst it hasn’t been revealed what this amber is used for, it has been stated that it could “be good for something”, so get panning! The DLC aims to bring a couple of hours of additional content.
As well as this, the free update will introduce the Bazaar, where new hats and furniture can be bought. This isn’t unlocked straight away and does require players to have dug deep enough into the mine. Full controller support and revamped Steam Deck controls will also launch at the same time. All of the above is due to be released on August 6th.
