If you’re a Nintendo Switch 2 gamer and you’re yet to play Elden Ring on another device, don’t fear! FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have announced that the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition will be released for the handheld on August 28th.
UK pre-orders are available now on a handful of sites such as Smyths and Very for £59.99, with The Game Collection undercutting slightly at £57.95. I also found it on Littlewoods but whatever you do, please don’t order it from there, considering it’s listed at £75. Bear in mind that these physical editions are all game-key cards, which are downloadable versions of the game.

The Tarnished Edition includes the base game, as well as the fantastic Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, which alone adds tens of hours of additional content. On top of the expansion, it also includes two new starting classes, more character armour and the ability to customise Torrent, who is the game’s mount.
I’m not one to brag normally, but I would like to point out that I’ve 100%’ed Elden Ring on Steam. Just in case any of you want to send me appraisals or anything like that.
