Mintrocket has officially revealed the final DLC pack for Dave the Diver, a crossover with Subnautica 2, that will see players exploring the unfamiliar ocean moon.
The new DLC will see Dave and Bancho crossing through a portal to Proteus from Subnautica 2, after an unexpected visitor arrives on their boat. Players will travel between dimensions, discovering all-new areas to explore, resources to gather and a whole bunch of new creatures waiting in the depths. All the while, facing periodic confrontations with Subnautica 2’s fan-favourite, the Leviathan.
Players will also find new fish in these waters, with Bancho discovering new and exotic recipes to try, though hunting down these new fish certainly won’t be easy. It has also been said that this new DLC will affect both halves of the game – the exploration portion and the more food-focused side of the game, rather than being just a bonus level.
Mintrocket has teased so much more, with new friends to be made and unexpected discoveries. It seems a lot of love has been poured into the final adventure and it is currently set to be released in early 2027.
