Battlefield 6 Season 5 Drops New Maps and Dead Space Event

Battlefield 6 has revealed its first look into the upcoming Season 5, due to launch on October 13th, including new maps, REDSEC game mode, new Operation and even a Dead Space event.

The Siege of Las Vegas

The first phase of Season 5 arrives on October 13th, introducing two new themed maps; Vegas Strip and Area 51. The first map of these two takes the fighting to the famous strip of restaurants, casinos, hotels and more, whereas the second will be based in and around one of the most infamous areas in America, with battles happening in the desert hills but also inside a facility underground.

Battlefield 6 REDSEC’s Rapid Royale Mode

The new Rapid Royale mode will make its debut on the Vegas Strip. It’s a new way to play REDSEC, as it focuses on more intense and compact action, with faster rounds and less players. Defeating enemies will award redeploy tokens to bring teams back into the match, with additional kills required to earn these tokens as the game goes on.

Dead Space Halloween Event and Future Phases

In time for Halloween, from October 20th to November 7th, Battlefield 6 will run its new Dead Space event. It sees Pax Armata discovering secret technology beneath Area 51, which I assume may be some sort of Marker. The event will include environmental spaces taken from the remake, as well as exclusive cosmetics to unlock.

Phase 2 of this season begins on November 10th, bringing a third map, whilst Phase 3 concludes the season on December 8th, seemingly freezing over Las Vegas and debuting a new Operation.

Hi, I'm ChilledPixl, owner of PixlPerfect!

This website was created to provide a space for gamers to learn about the games they play, as well as find new titles that may have been missed, as well as deals and trailers.

A commitment that I will stand by is that we will offer entertaining news to any of our readers without any unnecessary or unwanted additions to articles. No clickbait, no bulk and certainly no fake posts.

I envisioned Pixl Perfect as a hub, providing as much content as possible that I could provide, whilst also being a community area and I hope to develop the latter down the line.

I absolutely love everything related to video games and thoroughly enjoy writing and decided to join them both together. I owned a previous site in the past, the Player Journal, with the foundations of that used to create Pixl Perfect.
