Albion Online has announced its next major content update, Dragonfire. This is one that has been long requested by players.
Dragonfire’s store sees The Ashborn completing their rituals to awaken dragons, as well as the Azaryon, the Fire Dragon, who will act as a large PvE battle to test player teamwork and skill. Attacks from these dragons will happen throughout the Royal Continent and Outlands, offering surprise encounters for both solo play and guilds.
This update also sees portals opening to the Ancient Lands – a brand new unknown realm. At the very end of this area is the Dragon Sanctuary raid, featuring the leader of the Ashborn. In terms of items, there’s a tonne of new rewards on offer, including the Dragon Armour and Drake Egg, the latter of which will allow players to nurture and grow their own Fire Drake mount.
The Dragonfire expansion for Albion Online is due to launch on August 31st for PC, Xbox and mobile devices.
