PUBG: Battlegrounds
Krafton has released Update 43.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds on PC, introducing new ways of approaching combat, movement and more.
This update has added in the ability to kick with unarmed combat, which can be used to knock back opponents or even break in-game objects like doors or windows for quick entry/exit. In addition, players will now also be able to use sidearms and throwables when on the surface of the water, instead of being totally vulnerable when trying to swim.
Some items can now be thrown to teammates or deployed directly from the ground without the need to pick it up into the inventory first, meaning this could speed up quite a bit of specific areas of combat. LMG’s have received an adjustment to their aim speed, recoil, vehicle effectiveness and even spawn rates.
The last main feature is a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen that decorates some areas of Erangel with artwork from the popular anime, as well as a statue of Goro on the starting island that has its own special effect. There are a few smaller additions introduced with Update 43.1 for PUBG: Battlegrounds, including the return of Solo Deathmatch, support for DLSS 4.5/AMD FSR 4.1, Rumble Duo mode and hit adjustments.
