John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando Receives Second Content Update

Saber Interactive has released the second update for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, titled Retrieval.

The main highlight is a new game mode of the same name, which is meant to be a fast-paced run through a map to collect relics and reach an extraction point before players are caught by hordes of zombies. This mode is playable on four maps currently.

The Goblin zombie has made an entrance – small enemies that attack in groups and can even revive each other. To defeat these enemies, there are four new weapons on offer, being the Le Clairon assault rifle, the Flamethrower, the Thunderstick and the Saw Trap.

Lastly, there have also been a few small additions, including the ability to dash, Season 2 of Trials, improvements to vehicles and AI and even PC local servers. The Retrieval update is out now for John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando.
