PixARK has launched its first premium DLC, Terracrypt, which is said to offer over 200+ hours of new gameplay.
The new expansion features an expansive underground ruin with dozens of new biomes. Players will find themselves awoken from a crash landing down here, with a mysterious distress signal emanating from further within the caverns. There are 11 new species in the underground to survive against, with the end goal being “to defeat a powerful foe before it destroys the planet.”
Base building has also been expanded, with the new ability to engineer unique creatures and flora through genetic modification – all with the help of new automated systems that will continue working whilst you explore deeper into the caves.
PixARK’s Terracrypt DLC is out now on Steam, with console versions due in the upcoming months. There’s a discount available until September 7th, with 75% off the base game and 10% off the new DLC.
