The Super Limit-Breaking Neo DLC for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is due to release today alongside a free update for all players.
Featuring in the DLC is the new Limit Breaker Journey solo mode. This mode will allow players to select their favourite character, tune them into their own selected playstyle and take on battles throughout multiple destinations across a map.
To make this mode a bit on the side of risk/reward, a stamina system has been introduced, one which affects a character’s starting health in battle. Points can be earned and allocated to stats and these will be carried through to Player Matches and Offline Battles. The DLC also introduces a whopping 30+ new playable characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT.
The free update, on the other hand, brings two new battle mechanics. Sparking Boost sharply raises attack power at the cost of temporary reduced stats, whilst Chain Blast is a follow up after sending an opponent flying by switching in a reserve ally.
