K-POP Rising – Dream to Shine Rhythm Game Announced

Microids and Old Skull Games have announced K-POP Rising – Dream to Shine, a new rhythm style/life simulation game that can be played co-op.

The game revolves around a new rising star in the K-Pop industry, who must work together with their best friend Nova. It offers “a complete experience combining a sense of rhythm, deep customisation, and community management in the era of social media”.

In terms of the rhythm side of things, players will be tasked to perfect singing and choreography to shoot up in popularity, starting in the bedroom. There’s also an option to play the game in co-op mode with up to two other friends, with the ability to form a trio group.

Whilst the game itself doesn’t seem to be directly tied to KPop Demon Hunters, it’s very clear that the art style, and definitely the cover image, can be seen as a comparison.

K-Pop Rising – Dream to Shine is due to launch on November 5th for PC, PS5 and Nintendo Switch.
