Jackbox Games has announced The Jackbox Party Pack 12 and it includes five brand-new games.
Coming up first is “Debate and Switch”, which brings up light-hearted topics to be debated. I imagine this could be similar to Jackbox 7’s “Talking Points”, even though that was more speech/presentation-based. Next is “Idol Factions”, tasking players to sort fact answers into the right categories quickly.
“Hyperface” meets selfies, where you’ll be able to edit other players’ faces to match weird prompts. After that is “MegaPals” is one that aims to link players’ minds together with impulsive wordsmithing and matching. Lastly, and the one I think sounds the most fun, is “We Forgot a Card”, a game where players will need to create their own greeting cards for weird occasions.
The Jackbox Party Pack 12 is due to launch later this year on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 1/2, Apple TV, iPad and the Mac App Store. That’s a lot of platforms.
