Players on both Nintendo Switch & NS2 consoles can now jump into a demo of the upcoming Digimon Story Time Stranger. This is downloadable from the Nintendo eShop.
The demo includes the opening chapters of the game in their entirety, with full progress transferring to the full game once it releases. As well as this, it offers a free exploration mode after finishing said demo.
It’s meant to be the perfect entry point for anyone new to the franchise. Players will find themselves in a “world-entangling” event, with both the human and digital world on the verge of ruin.
When the game was released in October 2025 on other platforms, it was hit with favourable reviews, with the user score sitting at 9.1 on Metacritic, as of today’s date. The Steam side of things is at a healthy 93% very positive rating.
Digimon Story Time Stranger is due to fully release on Nintendo Switch consoles on July 10th.
