As part of the Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2026, Auroch Digital has shown off a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2. A free demo is also available now on Steam.
On its full release, the sequel will follow on from the ending of the original. With a full campaign that features new locations, enemies, weapons and more. Included in the free demo are two of these new levels – an overgrown mangrove swamp and an icy facility overrun by Chaos enemies.
A new mechanic in this sequel is the addition of multiple playable characters. Players can either choose the tank Ultramarine Malum Caedo or the faster Sister of Battle Nyta Veyrath. Both of these characters feature their own unique weapons and abilities.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is due to launch later this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
